INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 pounds chicken wings
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons white vinegar
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

  1. Preheat over to 350 degrees.  Cut each chicken wing into 3 pieces at the joints, discarding the wing tip.  Dip chicken into egg and coat with flour.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over a medium/high heat, add chicken wings.  Fry until browned and crisp on all sides about 5 minutes and drain.  Place cooked chicken wings in a medium baking dish.
  3. Combine brown sugar, honey and vinegar in a small bowl and mix well.  Stir in worcestershire sauce, hot pepper sauce, salt and pepper, pout over chicken.
  4. Bake chicken basting occasionally with sauce and turn until cooked through, about 40 minutes.  Place on serving platter and drizzle with sauce.
