CHOCOLATE PUDDING

Make Ahead:  Prepare this recipe
up to 8 hours ahead and refrigerate
until ready to serve.
 

Serves 6

Serve with hazelnut coffee for a really
perfect ending to a delicious meal.

SHOPPING LIST

Instant Pudding Mix, Whipped Topping, Peanuts,Ice Cream,
Marshmallows, Chocolate Chips, Milk

INGREDIENTS

1 package chocolate instant pudding (3 ounce size)
3/4 cup milk
2 cups vanilla ice cream, softened
2 cups whipped topping, divided
1/2 cup miniature marshmallows
1/2 cup chopped peanuts, divided
1/4 cup miniature chocolate chips

  1. Combine pudding mix and milk in a large bowl and beat until smooth, using an electric mixer set at medium speed.
  2. Add the ice cream and 1/ 1/2 cups whipped topping, gold together until well mixed.
  3. Fold in marshmallows, 1/4 cup of peanuts and chocolate chips.  Spoon the pudding mixture gently into 6 dessert dishes.
  4. Top each desert with the remaining whipped topping and sprinkle with the remaining nuts.  Refrigerate until ready to serve.

VARIATION

You can replace the chocolate pudding and chocolate chips with butterscotch flavored items.

EXPRESS COOKING

For a really classic party presentation, spoon the pudding mixture into long stemmed wine glasses and garnish each with a fresh sprig of mint.

Save money and calories by using a store band vanilla frozen yogurt for the vanilla ice cream.
